Silicone will weigh the hair down, making it limp, with time, very dull. It prevents moisture from penetrating the hair shaft, leaving it vulnerable to dirt and others. Silicone does not allow in the conditioner and it ends up sitting on the surface. Due to lack of moisture, the hair will become very brittle and could lead to frizz and breakage.
According to several studies, parabens have been proven to cause damage to the hair and scalp and can also cause loss of hair color and even hair loss. In addition, results corroborated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in a research study found that parabens were quite easily absorbed through your skin and scalp. Many people are allergic to parabens as well and contact with the preservatives can exacerbate existing skin conditions and cause allergic reactions.
Hair dye uses ammonia to elevate the pH of the hair, and to relax and lift the cuticle, which acts like tree bark and protects your hair from damage. Immediately, the damage to your hair is done as the cuticle isn’t meant to be lifted up.
Once the cuticle is lifted, the next step is to dye the hair to the intended color. For this process, hair dye uses peroxide to break down the natural hair pigment. Peroxide is extremely drying to hair as the peroxide developer sits, the cuticle remains lifted for the dye to penetrate into the open cuticle and hair shaft. The longer the cuticle is lifted, the more it weakens. The damage is not irreversible despite rinsing hair afterwards.

Get your hair wet before using the Shampoo – Warm water helps to loosen excess oil and open your pores, allowing for a deeper penetration from the nutrients of SINCE Beaute Shampoo. With a wet foundation, this helps to cleanse your scalp even better.

Foam shampoo the size of a quarter into your palms and work into your roots, you do not need to shampoo the tips of your hair – The Shampoo should not sit in one blob which concentrates on only one area of your hair

Rinse out all the shampoo – If you do not do so, you could be leaving a lot of buildup on your scalp which over time can lead to dandruff. Remember to take enough time to rinse your roots throughly.
